Our client is a global food company headquartered in Denmark. With more than 26.000 employees the company is one of the world’s largest exporters of pork and organic meat and among the top five producers of beef in Europe. Or client seeks to recruit a Geschäftsführer Finance & Administration to ensure day-to-day operational excellence and strategic vision for the sites Husum and Teterow in joint responsibility with the Geschäftsführer Teterow. As a Partner to the Global Management and to internal stakeholders globally, you will provide business acumen and help the company to maximize business opportunities from a financial perspective.

YOUR ROLE

  • You provide the leadership, vision and management necessary to ensure the sites with approx. 500 employees have administrative and reporting procedures, proper financial controls and people processes in place to effectively maintain, sustain and grow the organization
  • You lead, develop and motivate a high performing team in coordination with the Geschäftsführer Teterow and ensure a strong and effective cooperation
  • You lead and inspire the team to strengthen their skills and abilities to improve personal and organizational performance. You create ownership and excellent teamwork.
  • As a sparringspartner to the CFO you will execute the division strategy in Germany in alignment with the Danish Headquarter and drive the sustainability priorities in Germany
  • You ensure that financial information, analysis and reporting is accurate, timely, reliable and relevant

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have more than 10 years financial leadership experience within an international business environment in the manufacturing industry, ideally food manufacturing industry
  • You have experience in managing a full budgeting and forecasting process, along with solid knowledge of finance systems, reporting standards and awareness of local GAAP and IFRS
  • You will act as a leader and mentor to your team, and you have demonstrated the ability to form teams that are empowered to take initiatives and will feel collective responsibility for meeting goals and targets
  • You are well versed in effectively managing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders in an international matrix organization
  • You have ideally a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • You have fluent German and English language skills
