Want Want was founded in 1962 in Taiwan and has grown rapidly since then. It is now one of the largest food producers in China. The company owns more than 100 production sites in China and Taiwan. Its portfolio includes a wide range of products - rice crackers, baby snacks, beverages and sweets - which are distributed not only in Asia, but also in the USA, Canada and Australia. Now Want Want is looking to expand their business to Europe, initially to Germany and later also to other European markets.

Job Description

  • Determine the strategic orientation of the German business and adjust the product portfolio accordingly
  • Act as a Key Account Manager and primary contact towards the German customers (retail and discount)
  • Prepare and carry out annual reviews on top-level with the retail customers
  • Manage the communication between the German branch office and local business partners

Profile Of Requirements

  • University degree or comparable non-academic training in economics, marketing or similar fields
  • More than five years of professional experience as a Sales or Key Account Manager, selling snacks, sweets or dried products (branded or private label) to the German retail customers
  • Preferably working experience in international companies and sensitivity to cultural differences
  • Good communication skills, self-motivating, ability to work autonomously, proactive problem-solving
