Our client is a Japanese company with its headquarters in Tokyo and around 50 offices worldwide. Wismettac is one of the most experienced importer, wholesaler, and distributer of Asian food products. The company imports foreign food products into Japan and exports Japanese and Asian food products globally. In the last years, Wismettac has expanded to Europe and now plans to grow its business in the German retail and foodservice market. For this important task, they are looking to hire an ambitious salesperson.

YOUR ROLE

  • Reporting directly to the General Manager of the German subsidiary and the Head of Sales Europe (dotted line), you are responsible to implement Wismettac’s sales strategy in the German retail and/or foodservice market
  • With the objective of growing the sales revenue, you systematically work through the market by defining and evaluating potential profits and deriving the necessary next steps
  • By identifying, approaching, and acquiring key customers, you build and maintain a broad customer base
  • You set up and implement solid sales structures and prepare to further expand the German business

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a proven track-record in sales functions and experience in launching new food products in Germany
  • You have a solid network within and a profound knowledge of the German retail and/or foodservice sector
  • Being a self-confident, determined, and proactive self-starter, you thrive on challenges and ambitious sales targets and are willing to go the extra-mile
