Our client AAK is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high value-added specialty vegetable oils and fats. AAK is specialized in specific customer applications for fat compositions with a high level of technological support. The company, with HQ in Malmö (Sweden), has 2,500 employees worldwide, manufacturing facilities in seven different countries and a global sales and distribution network. Factories and sales offices are located in Zaandijk (The Netherlands) and Merksem (Belgium). AAK is organized in three business areas: Food Ingredients, Chocolate & Confectionery Fats and Technical Products & Feed. AAK has a strong portfolio of international and well-established client relationships with several of the most renowned players in the food industry. To strengthen the sales team in Western Europe, we are currently searching for a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Manager B2B.

IHRE NEUE HERAUSFORDERUNG

In this position you are

  • Responsible for achieving business targets according to the strategy through developing, managing and serving customers throughout Germany, Austria and the Netherlands
  • Visiting and meeting customers to identify needs and building up relations at different levels
  • Preparing and executing a market plan
  • Increasing sales of AAK products by establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base
  • Negotiating with customers and prospects on prices and delivery terms
  • Monitoring and reporting market developments and providing relevant management information
  • Working closely together with your colleagues on Inhouse Sales, Customer Innovation, Commercial Product Management and other stakeholders

DAS BRINGEN SIE MIT

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Business Administration or similar
  • Several years of relevant and successful sales experience (B2B) of food ingredients or related materials
  • Good technical understanding, food industry background preferred; knowledge of (vegetable) fats and oils is obviously an advantage
  • Based in Zaandijk or Merksem – home-office in Germany (NRW preferred) is possible
  • Very familiar with the German and Dutch culture; excellent communications skills with fluency in German and English. Command of another European language, such as Dutch, French, Spanish or Italian is an advantage
  • Personal skills: self-starter, high degree of personal and work moral, strong analytical skills, results oriented and team player
