The company in question is genuinely ecxellent. Information we have collected has shown that current employees genuinely rave about this business but perhaps the acid test is ex-employees also highly rate this business. Aside from the tangible benefits associated with the role and business (17 in total!) the biggest selling Point is the culture of the company which I can expand on later.
This is a fascinating Global Microbiology Manager role that really is at the pinnacle of the industry and this person will be held in high regard across the sector.
This role will assume the mantle of microbiology expert across this globally recognised and highly regarded business. You will take the lead across a number of different sites, categories and cultures and define the microbiology strategy and establish processes to ensure standardisation in the approach to microbiological food safety. What is really exciting about this role is the focus on new ways of working and technology so this will be fantastic for someone who is forward thinking and enjoys expressing their ideas into actionable plans that are then implemented. Reporting into a senior stakeholder, you will have complete freedom and autonomy to perform in this role as you best see fit.
Of course Microbiology knowledge ist important in this role and in this regard further education is vital, ideally to PhD level. However what is key is the interpersonal and communication skills that will enable an idea born in one part of the world to be implemented in potentially a completely different continent. Ideally you will have a FMCG background and an understanding of how a large corporate business works.
