Entering the UK market with a now fully operational local subsidiary, we are looking for a new meember of the senior management team (m/f).

Head of Quality - UK

Description of position

Reporting to the Managing Director Operations the scope of the role is to prepare and deliver the QA strategy and plan in line with the company business plan objectives. The start up operation is to be established and to be developed to a successful QA team, that can deliver targeted levels of performance. The QA team of about 10 people is to be lead, managed and motivated through a period of significant change and growth. The direct contact to main customers is essential to deliver a high service level and to meet their individual needs.

Position requirements

Potential candidates will have at least a degree level education in food science, technology or related subjects and a working experience in a techical / quality role of 5 years in the chilled FMCG business, dairy industry prefereable. There should be a track of record of developing and continually improving food safety and quality management systems. The role involves managing of technical aspects of big retailers. An experience of leading and managing a QA / QC team is needed. Fluent English is essential, German would be an advantage, but is no must.
